Jeremy Flachs
Mr. Flachs has been practicing law since 1978, focusing primarily on bodily injury claims. Mr Flachs has been lead trial counsel in jury trials in State and Federal Courts in Virginia, Washington, DC, Maryland and Pennsylvania. These trials have focused on a wide variety of injuries and claims, including car, van, bus and truck collisions, premises liability cases, slip and falls, assault and battery and excessive force claims against police officers and police departments, and claims against the Virginia Deparment of Transportation for negligent highway construction and maintenance.
The managing owner, Jeremy Flachs, is a member the bars of Virginia, the District of Columbia and Pennsylvania, and is admitted to the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Virginia and the District of Columbia. He is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, the Trial Lawyers Association of Metropolitan Washington DC, the American Trial Lawyers Association, and the local bar associations of Alexandria and Arlington. Mr. Flachs is a 1978 graduate of Wake Forest University School of Law. Mr. Flachs has lectured for NBI on personal injury law, including how to screen and settle auto accident cases. In addition to his law practice, Mr. Flachs is involved in a variety of activities, including a member of the Board of Directors of the Carpenter’s Shelter, the largest homeless shelter in Alexandria. Mr. Flachs was formerly a member and past chairman of the City of Alexandria’s Affordable Housing Advisory Committee.
